Biloxi Mississippi for a quick 4 days

The wife and I love a quick trip to the mountains or the coast just to get away and relax. Since she still works, we went fir a quick four days during Spring Break. Biloxi is always a good choice because of the freebies we have available to us. We get two free nights at The Imperial Palace with food credits and free gaming play credits for each of us. Also we get free all you can eat Crab Legs or Crawfish at Boomtown. You can also travel to Casinos and enjoy free perks and you don’t have to spends hundreds of dollars to get them. Simply pick four or five casinos, go inside and get a free players card. They will load free play at slots or tables immediately. Start playing and you build tier points and start earning meals or stays. Scarlet Pearl gives you one free round of putt putt a month. Please, remember gaming is entertainment only, budget what you spend and never go over your limit. The Casinos don’t care how much you play or if you win or lose. They only care about how long and how often you play. Another good idea is to go to U R Compted.com and register. You will start getting offers in the mail

We never just go to Biloxi and gamble the entire time. There is always a lot if thins to do. There is the beach, sunset cruises on the bay, dolphin watching excursions, an alligator farm with swamp airboat rides, and many sights to see and visit. My wife, Darlene, and I have made many trips down here. We always eat the delicious food at many fine restaurants the area has to offer. We never go to Biloxi without making a trip to Mary Mahoney’s. My opinion, this is the best seafood house on the entire gulf coast and I have been to many from South Padre Island, Texas to Naples Florida.

The decor and ambiance is something special, but the food is outstanding. We have never had anything that was not excellent. This trip we got The Presidential Platter as appetizers. It consists of fried crab claws and fried petite softshell crabs. This dish was served on the White House Lawn in 1984 for President Reagan.

The meal was great as usual. Darlene had Broiled Snapper topped with Lump Crab Meat and I had Sisters Of The Sea. One Crab Au Gratin and one Shrimp Au Gratin.

Trust me when I say the trip to this Restaurant should be on everybody’s bucket list.

There are many small towns within a thirty mile stretch along the Mississippi Coast. Each town has some unique shops and sights to see and do. Each also has its share of good restaurants. From Ocean Springs to Bay Saint Louis, take a trip to Biloxi and relax and enjoy. Other good restaurants include but not limited to Trilby’s in Ocean Springs, Felix in Gulfport, and Tripani’s in Bay Saint Louis

Check back on my blog for our next trip we are still planning and finalizing. Darlene and I are going to Reno, Carson City, and Virginia City, Nevada as well as Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park in California, California.
